A few organizations in your neighborhood have raised funds for a well supervised housing program for mentally ill consumers who are on the road to recovery. Honestly, would you support this housing project on your street?

The Center for Mental Health Services is the Federal agency within the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) that is helping states to improve and increase mental health treatment and support.

The CMHS National GAINS Center collects and disseminates information about effective mental health and substance abuse services. It assists states to forge collaborations among the mental health, substance abuse and criminal justice systems.
